Just a short drive from all our properties lies the rolling landscape of the Lincolnshire Wolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty – a walker's dream with its undulating hills, hidden valleys, and charming villages.

Hubbard's Hills and Louth

About 30 minutes from Medlam Barns, this beautiful glacial valley offers a perfect family-friendly walking location with gentle paths alongside a stream. For a longer day out, extend your walk into the market town of Louth to admire its Georgian architecture and explore the award-winning shops.

Distance: 1-3 miles (depending on route)

Best for: Families with children, casual walkers

Don't miss: The ice cream van in Hubbard's Hills during summer months!

Snipe Dales Country Park
